Welcome Friends!
I’m Morgan, the mama behind this little corner of the internet. I am a first time mom learning, laughing, growing and, let’s be honest, crying, my way through motherhood—one sleepless night and one tiny victory at a time.
I started this blog because when I became a mom, I realized two things. First, nothing can prepare you for this journey. You can read all the books. You can take all the classes. Nothing prepares you for motherhood. Second, every mom deserves a space where she feels heard and supported.
So welcome. Truly.
My Favorite Quote!
“Beware of the destination addiction-a preoccupation with the idea that happiness is in the next place…Until you give up the idea that happiness is somewhere else, it will never be where you are.”

how I got Here
Why I Love What I Do
Before motherhood, I thought I had a pretty good handle on life. I had time for anything! Exercise, hobbies, time with friends and family…then I had a baby. Everything changed instantly in the best, yet, hardest ways imaginable.
Motherhood is messy and confusing and beautiful. We don’t get a map or manual, so none of us should have to navigate it alone. I am here to share what I have learned and am learning, and what I wish I knew sooner. If my experiences can make just one mom’s day easier or make her feel understood, then this space is doing what it’s meant to.
